The role reports directly to the CEO, the candidate is responsible for the smooth running of the IT department and ensuring systems in place are running optimally for all users with minimal disruption.
Without being too prescriptive:
• Leads the IT team and oversees all activities related to IT operations, IT Help Desk, enterprise applications, Infrastructure and IT requirements.
• Working closing with stakeholders to identify the gaps and opportunities for IT in the organization, and propose best-fit solutions.
• Oversees the development of new and enhancements of existing applications (POS, ERP, Accounting, HRMS, Web Commerce) and infrastructure (Hardware & Security) to support the mid to long term ambitions of the Company.
• Analyzes IT issues from various perspectives and recommend practical and cost-effective alternatives and solutions.
• Monitors the performance of existing systems and give solutions to issues and improvements.
• Assesses vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software and make recommendations to Management.
• Prepares reports on KPIs and metrics and updates presentations to management for scheduled meetings.
